May 2019
Moooooommmm! May brings with it fresh air and Mother's Day, and we love to celebrate Mom's everywhere! May is also all about the food - it's National Barbecue Month, Hamburger Month, and Salad Month. To balance out the feasting, it's also National Bike Month and National Blood Pressure Month. In addition to Mom, we'll be celebrating other important people - Nurses, EMS, and Police. Wrapping up the month are the thoughtful remembrances that come with Memorial Day.

Time to shift into summer! With the focus on the outdoors, there's many reasons to celebrate in June. Starting off with National Gardening Week, the whole month is a tribute to growing! It's National Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Month, and one of our favorites - Rose Month. It's also Adopt-a-Cat Month, Dairy Month, and Accordion Awareness Month. June really is made for celebrating!

June 4 - Hug Your Cat Day and National Cheese Day
June 5 - World Environment Day
June 6 - D Day and National Gardening Exercise Day
June 8 - Best Friends Day and World Ocean Day
June 10 - Herb & Spices Day
June 12 - Red Rose Day
June 13 - National Weed Your Garden Day (weed those red roses bushes!)

June 21 - Summer Solstice, Longest day of the year
June 26 - Beautician's Day
June 29 - Hug Holiday (Hug someone who needs it, or send them hugs by way of flowers.)



July 2019
July is all about eating up the fun foods. As we go into the Dog Days of Summer, we celebrate National Hot Dog Month, National Ice Cream Month, National Picnic Month, and not to be entirely unhealthy - National Blueberry Month. Let's eat up these lively reasons to celebrate and devour a few more...
